We have more than 168MW of gas powered energy generating facilities in the pipeline, 90MW of projects under development, 17MW in planning and 61MW awaiting construction. These projects provide balancing services and emergency support to the National Grid. They are operational in times of peak electricity demand and in case of a stress event on the network.

Projects will operate under Short-term Operating Reserve (STOR) or Balancing Mechanism (BM) contracts in the UK. They aim to provide additional electricity to the network based on the peak demand during the day, usually between 8-10am and 4-6pm. The high performing genset technology offers quick start time, low emissions and remote operation.
