Bryngolwg Solar Farm unanimously approved for planning

Bryngolwg Solar Farm, developed in partnership between RE Projects Development and Enviromena, secured unanimous approval from the Cynon Valley Council planning committee. The project will have an installed capacity of 9 MWp and will be capable of providing power to over 2,500 homes and will offset around 3,700 tonnes of carbon emissions per annum.

RE Projects Development worked together with Enviromena, one of the UK’s largest clean energy solutions companies, on ensuring the proposed development will support the local community and comply with local planning policies.

Simeon Batov, Director of RE Projects Development stated:

This will be a large-scale project that will make a huge amount of difference to the local community. We have worked with Enviromena to engage with all our stakeholders, who were all in agreement that we need to act now towards a future that is more sustainable – and as costs continue to rise, offer a cheaper alternative to traditional fuel.
